Words of Colour Productions has been awarded £5,000 from Awards for All London to raise awareness of and to promote arts and literature among individuals and groups who are more likely to be excluded, to enable their work to be performed and published.
This is the purpose of the Get Started writing programme.
Through tailored consultancy, workshops, online training, personal development and career advice, Words of Colour Productions aims to boost the numbers of visible poets, authors and journalists from often excluded communities. The programme aims to increase the opportunities for their work to be published and performed, and for participants to gain access to inspiring writers and professionals from the media and publishing industries.
